About this event
Join us at the library on Monday, November 2nd at 2:00pm for Wisconsin State Parks, Forests, and Recreation Areas – A Ranger’s Guide presented by James Buchholz, a retired Wisconsin Park Ranger and Supervisor.
Jim Buchholz is a freelance author with a passion for the great outdoors. His new book, Wisconsin State Parks, Forests, and Recreation Areas – A Ranger’s Guide, is the culmination of his onsite exploration and photography of all 80 of Wisconsin’s state parks, forests and recreation areas. This guidebook describes the recreational opportunities found at each property including hiking, biking and nature trails, picnic areas, swimming beaches, campgrounds, interpretive sites, scenic overlooks, fishing and boating opportunities, and much more. Jim will provide a PowerPoint presentation that explores the content of this beautiful book.
This program will last approximately one hour and will take place in the Shattuck Community Room.
Everyone is welcome. If accommodations are needed to attend, please contact the library administrative office at 920-886-6315 or by email at library@neenahlibrary.org at least 24 hours in advance of the program.
The Friends of the Neenah Public Library and the Neenah Public Library Trust Fund present the Adult Afternoon Program series. Donations are always accepted and appreciated.
